Community

At Burlington Veterinary Hospital, we believe in giving back to the communities that have been so supportive of us over the years.

We work with a variety of local organizations to help improve the quality of life to all animals living in our area, including: the Methuen MSPCA, Northeast Animal Shelter, Lowell Humane Society, Quincy Animal Shelter, German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue of New England, and the Curly Tail Pug Rescue of New England.

We provide low cost medical care for a number of local animal shelters. This allows us to become acquainted with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes that are looking for permanent homes. Before placing these animals up for adoption, they are screened for medical and behavior issues.

Please call us if you are interested in adopting a pet from a local shelter. We can supply you with the names and the phone numbers of these shelters.

We also participate in community outreach education programs, tours for Cub Scouts, Brownies and other children's organizations, town rabies and microchip clinics, monthly health concern focus and we also participate in town fairs by providing information on rabies, lyme disease, microchipping and the children's teddy bear clinic.
