Bruce Weiner, VMD- Chief of Staff

Bruce Weiner is originally from Cambridge, but lived most of his life in Belmont. He and his family now reside in Waltham.

Bruce went to undergraduate school at UMASS-Amherst and then to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in 1975, he worked at Burlington Veterinary Hospital for Dr. Arthur Sandler. Bruce eventually opened a hospital in Boston across from Symphony Hall. In 1991 he opened a second hospital, Cambridge Veterinary Care where he worked until 2022. Bruce is now back at Burlington Veterinary Hospital serving as the hospital’s Chief of Staff.

Bruce always knew from a very young age that he would be a veterinarian. He enjoys the interactions with both the owners and pets.

Bruce enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery, especially dental surgery, soft tissue surgery and dermatology. When he isn’t spending time with animals, Bruce enjoys traveling with his wife and friends now that their two sons are grown. Bruce currently has two cats named Ace and Buzz.
